Therapy for women’s issues in vermont
Helping you rediscover your purpose.
Heres the truth:
Women aren’t meant to feel overwhelmed, stressed out, and tired.
There’s no question that women face immense pressure. Expectations are high and can lead to self-doubt. You may worry if you are enough. Successful enough, productive enough, accomplished enough, present enough…
Balancing career and family, motherhood, friendships, health, household responsibilities, and so much more isn’t easy. You’re spread thin and want to feel good about your efforts without being consumed by the busyness of day to day life.
When facing this much pressure, it can be difficult to feel confident, balanced, and in control.
Are you ready for life to feel manageable and, dare I say it, enjoyable?!

You’re not incapable, you need support.
We’ve all heard the advice to “put your oxygen mask on before helping others.”
When you stop making your wellness a priority, it can feel like you can’t breathe.
Taking time to tend to your own needs and be intentional with your efforts will allow you to serve others from the overflow. Imagine only saying yes to things you genuinely want to do, and not feeling bad about saying no to the rest. Imagine giving yourself enough credit and knowing that you’re doing an amazing job!
This can be your reality
Each woman’s story and experiences are unique, and they should be treated as such. Taking a holistic approach to women’s mental health, we will make strides toward overcoming the stress, overwhelm, and self-doubt you may be experiencing to become more empowered and confident. I will help you explore your current circumstances, your ideal reality, and the challenges in-between. We’ll take a collaborative approach to bridging this gap!

Limited resources are a real concern, you’re doing a lot! My approach to therapy is perfectly described by Arthur Ashe, “Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can.” Let’s work together to find a sustainable and achievable approach to your current situation. Consider virtual counseling as a solution to squeezing this hour for you into your schedule - it’s important!
-
Therapy goes much deeper, uncovering and addressing factors that may be subconscious. I will not shove self-love down your throat! (Because who really wants that?!) It takes time and often some unlearning. I want our work together to feel authentic and at a pace that is comfortable to you, with some gentle encouragement.

It IS possible to align your personal and professional identities, and one doesn’t have to reign over the other! We’ll get clear on intentions, prioritize what is important, and foster a healthy work-life balance.
