Kelsey Jenkins, MA CMHC

Women’s & teen therapist in Vermont

Right now, you don’t feel like your best self. You manage to fulfill your responsibilities and pour what you have left into others, but it’s leaving you feeling depleted.

Are you wondering how you can get back to filling your own cup?

You’re in the right place.

Welcome!

I’m Kelsey,

a Clinical Mental Health Counselor

I’m dedicated to helping women just like you: the ones who are hard-working, high-achieving, and want better for themselves.

My clients often tell me they’ve struggled in the past to find a counselor who is the right fit. Women work with me because I create a comfortable and relaxed environment that allows you to be your authentic self. I offer an empathetic, collaborative approach that utilizes your unique strengths and experiences as a catalyst for growth.

I will empower you

and help you feel hopeful

My approach to therapy validates struggles and holds space for hard moments while challenging current beliefs that leave you feeling stuck.

I provide tools for progress and believe in the ability to improve your circumstances. I will work with you to experience your situation in new ways and to achieve the solutions that you are looking for. Together, we will focus on positive aspects we can draw from to create the future you desire.

I work well with:

Women who are ready to make necessary changes and stop feeling like a product of their circumstances.  Are you ready to connect with a therapist who has a deep understanding of your unique challenges and specializes in exactly what you’re experiencing? I’ll support you on your journey and encourage you to implement changes that will leave you feeling optimistic about your future.

How I work

It’s important to understand how your past has led to your current circumstances, but our work together won’t live there.

We’ll focus on what will make a difference now, to help you feel better about the future.

You’ve read self-help books, listened to podcasts, talked with friends, and made adjustments. Maybe you follow a few psychologist’s accounts on Instagram or TikTok with really great, practical tips. You know you’re capable of creating positive change but it’s easy to slip into old habits. You could benefit from personalized support from a professional to help you find solutions that are sustainable and to remind you that you’ve got this! You deserve for your efforts to have an impact on your life in a big, feel good way.

I get it

I’m a mom, a wife, a friend, a colleague… I know what it’s like to wear so many hats. My lived experience, along with my training and education, allows me to offer professional and informed support with a personal and authentic touch.

You can feel comfortable with me

I’m just as human as you are. I show up each week ready to meet you where you’re at, whether it’s celebrating your wins or discussing what is weighing heavy on you. I’m here to process the events of the current week or delve into past experiences to help you understand how you’ve developed your current coping mechanisms and habits. More importantly, we’ll explore how to unlearn old habits that don’t serve you anymore.

Trust that our work together will be flexible to meet your needs as they evolve.
